About This Quote

In the days of his youth, when he was a young man, this one was a thief. In his younger days, he was a glutton and a drunkard. As he grew older he grew more and more arrogant. He thought himself to be so important that he would not even bow before anyone else.

But in his time of need, he found a friend in the only one who could help him-his good friend who had always been there for him when he needed someone to turn to in times of trouble or when life had been hard on him. When the thief found that his friend had been betrayed by his people and they wanted to kill him, he saved him from their clutches. That is when the thief decided to take the path of righteousness for himself.

The thief took up his old friend’s sword and pledged himself to his cause. He put aside his old ways of being mean and greedy, becoming better person for himself and for those around him. Because of this great change, the thief was now cloven, but still remained heart of the heart.
